V nejnovějším blogu na stránkách Gears of War 4 se objevili dvě podstatné zprávy. Nejdříve je to seznam achievementů, které ve hře půjde získat. Seznam naleznete níže a nechám každého si projít po svém. Jediné co stojí za zmínku, že nechybí achievement Seriously 4.0 a opět je naprosto šílený. Fanoušci a achievement hunteři mají o pár stovek hodin svého života méně už teď.
No a tou druhou novinkou jsou Gear Packs. Ano nebyla by to AAA hra s onlinem, aby tu nebylo v nějaké formě RNG a mikrotransakce. O ničem jiném to totiž není. Tedy je, primárně je to o získávání nových postav do multiplayeru, nových skinů na zbraně a prostě těchto kosmetických věcí, což je ok. Gear Packy pro Versus a Hordu zase cílí na to, aby vám zrychlili získávání XP bodů a to pomocí "Bounties". To jsou úkoly, které když splníte tak získáte XP bonus ve hře a už v nějaké formě byly přítomné v Betě. V Horde Booster Packu jsou také nějaké Skilly, které pomohou ve hře, ale jelikož přesně nevím jaké to mohou být. Nechám soud nad "zlými/neškodnými" mikrotransakcemi až na finální hru. Poslední typ balíčku je eSports Supporter Pack a zde budou kosmetické předměty, které budou ukazovat vaši příslušnost nebo podporu nějakého pro týmu.
Samozřejmě všechny balíčky od nejlevnějších po ty nejdražší půjde kupovat za herní kredity, ale bude to určitě znamenat velký grind a lákat upustit ten dolárek sem nebo dolárek tam. Celý článek o achievementech a balíčcích je zde.
